FLICQ sets up Advisory Board with appointment of Jane Cutler
It's my pleasure to welcome Jane Cutler to our newly established advisory board. Jane's appointment bolsters our management expertise as we continue to build our company to address the opportunities in the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) market.
Jane is currently a director of the Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA), Western Australia Division Councilor of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) and a director of WestCycle. Jane's most recent executive role was as CEO of National Offshore Petroleum Safety and Environmental Management Authority (NOPSEMA) and she previously held senior management positions at Woodside Energy, Plum Financial Services, SuperPartners, BHP Billiton Petroleum and Esso/ExxonMobil. Jane holds an MBA, a Master of Environmental Studies and a Bachelor of Engineering.
We will draw on Jane's background in the resources sector and her experience in growing successful businesses to shape FLICQ's strategy. Her expertise in corporate finance and governance will be invaluable as we look to scale the company in the years to come.
Commenting on the appointment, Jane said:
"FLICQ’s underlying concept first caught my interest. Smart sensors and predictive analytics resonated with my personal drive to improve safety and environmental outcomes whilst improving productivity and reducing costs. FLICQ goes beyond the internet of things towards the “internet of intelligent things” which deliver not just data but information and insight to support rapid decision making. The technical and management depth of FLICQ’s team and their track record as team players seeking trusted people from outside their immediate circle reinforced my decision that FLICQ was the right opportunity to jump in and get involved."
It is an exciting time for our company and I look forward to strengthening our Advisory Board in the coming weeks.
